Niki started with MBMS in 2017, bringing to MBMS 11 years of experience in coding and billing. After being with MBMS for a little over a year she was promoted to director and became responsible for all day-to-day actives of the coding department, putting into place new policies and procedures to streamline the department. Niki holds both CPC and RCC coding certifications and is a member of RBMA and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
Madelen joined MBMS in 2020, bringing 10 years of experience in healthcare. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentration in Healthcare Management from Appalachian State University. Madelen is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC); Certified Healthcare Auditor (CHA), Certified Healthcare Collections Manager (CHCM), and Certified HIPAA Compliance Officer (CHCO) through American Institute of Healthcare Compliance (AIHC). She is also a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), American Institute of Healthcare Compliance (AIHC), and The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
