MBMS’s Coding & Compliance Leadership Team
Niki started with MBMS in 2017, bringing to MBMS 11 years of experience in coding and billing. After being with MBMS for a little over a year she was promoted to director and became responsible for all day-to-day actives of the coding department, putting into place new policies and procedures to streamline the department. Niki holds both CPC ad RCC coding certifications and is a member of RBMA and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
Khin began her career at MBMS in 2015 as a member of MBMS’s coding audit team and currently holds the position of Interventional Radiology Coding Supervisor. Khin brings a unique perspective to MBMS as she is a former physician. Khin is responsible for managing the Interventional Radiology coding department which includes daily audits of interventional procedures and making sure every code is compliant and in line with medical necessity. Khin maintains numerous coding certifications – CPC, RCC, and RCCIR – and is a member of RBMA and the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
Madelen joined MBMS in 2020, bringing 10 years of experience in healthcare. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentration in Healthcare Management from Appalachian State University. Madelen is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) through the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC); Certified Healthcare Auditor (CHA), Certified Healthcare Collections Manager (CHCM), and Certified HIPAA Compliance Officer (CHCO) through American Institute of Healthcare Compliance (AIHC). She is also a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), American Institute of Healthcare Compliance (AIHC), and The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
To maintain the highest level of accuracy, we conduct monthly coding and documentation audits for all MBMS clients.
Lori Shore is MBMS’ Vice President of Coding Education & Compliance, and over 31 of Lori’s 40 years of coding experience has been spent at MBMS.
Additionally, she is the Chairperson of the Radiology Business Management Association’s (RBMA) Coding Subcommittee.
In this role, she has managed two of RBMA’s coding training courses (ICD-10 and RCC), and she speaks nationally and locally for numerous industry associations on coding topics.
Lori also personally conducts onsite coding and documentation seminars for all MBMS clients and hosts coding-related webinars throughout the year. Lori continues to help our clients with developing practice-specific compliance plans.
Lori earned her BS in Education from Drexel University and recently earned her RCCIR and FRBMA certifications.
Greg joined Medical Billing and Management Services, LLC (MBMS) in 2013 as an assistant regional vice president (ARVP) in the State College, PA office. He brought with him several years of healthcare knowledge and management experience through a previously held position at University Orthopedics Center also in State College. In March 2017, Greg was promoted to a new role and was named director of industry research and relations. This role primarily focuses on serving clients through research, interpretation, and education on industry changes while assisting our client service team through the practical application of Center of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations. Greg is currently an active member at both the regional and national levels of the Radiology Business Management Association, while currently serving as an elected volunteer of the data committee. In addition, he has gained experience through his contribution as a speaker at the Northeast Chapter annual meeting as well as the national RBMA PaRADigm conference. Additionally, he has been a contributing writer for the RBMA Bulletin publication as well as Radiology Business. Greg also holds membership in the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and has completed his certified medical practice executive certification (CMPE).
