Her presentation topic is Maximizing reimbursement through improvements in documentation; which Lori believes is critical as overall reimbursement continues to decline. In addition, Lori will be hosting an ICD-10 Webinar sponsored by the Association of Quality Imaging (AQI). In both engagements, Lori will speak to a wide variety of physician and administrative leaders, stressing the importance of early adoption as it relates to the constantly changing radiology landscape.
About AQI: Since its inception in 1998, AQI has undertaken a number of important initiatives on behalf of the diagnostic imaging industry. The association has three primary objectives: to monitor regulatory developments that may affect the industry; to act as an industry advocate on regulatory and legislative issues; and to educate third-party payers — governmental and nongovernmental — about the cost-saving technological advances and high-quality services diagnostic imaging centers provide.
